Gusto News August 2008
We do hope you are having a lovely Summer, and it has been lovely to see our regular customers enjoying the food and wine outside the deli in the sunshine.
All Day Dining – We have now launched our all-day menu, Piccolo Piatti, which runs from 2:30 - 6:00pm – see sample menu below. This has been very well received, and we hope to be able to stay open later - weather permitting.
Supper Evenings – On Thursday 5th June and Thursday 12th June we will be hosting two more supper evenings. One of our suppliers will be joining us to talk to guests before we serve a four-course dinner. For a reservation please call the deli or pop in. £45 per head including a glass of Prosecco.
Picnics – With summer hopefully coming soon we are offering our Hire a Hamper and Rent a Rug Service again. If picnicing at home or at the many outdoor events throughout the summer, do it in style: order a traditional hamper and rug, and let us fill the hamper with goodies from the deli.
Go with Gusto – We will soon be launching details of the first Gusto trip to Italy. We will be hosting a 3 night trip to Sorrento, staying in a stunning 4 star hotel. The trip will include visits to restaurants, farms and vineyards. Full details will be available soon. To express an interest in joining this inaugural trip please speak to Rachel or Gavin.
Gusto Delivers – if you are planning a party, however large or small, we would be very happy to arrange this for you – the food, the staff, the drinks, the venue, the music, the flowers, the photographer... even (with a little luck) the sunshine! For further details of our catering services please get in touch.

Italian Lessons – Our current session has been a sell out and the group of students are having a great time and learning well. The six week lessons include drinks and nibbles and are a fun and informative way of learning the Italian Language. The next lessons will commence on Wednesday 10 September. We will be running a beginners lesson starting at 6.45pm and and a follow-on lesson starting at 8pm. Please email or come into the shop if you are interested.
Bags of Life - Our Jute carriers are now selling well and are being spotted a lot around Cheltenham. Once our stock of disposable bags are finished these will not be replaced. We will continue to use our paper and strong plastic carriers which are ideal for you to reuse. We do recycle these bags, so if you have a stockpile of our carriers, do feel free to bring them back to be used again.
Private Hire – Our caffe is available for private hire and is frequently booked for social occasions. Whether it is Sunday brunch, a business lunch or a dinner party with friends, do ask and we can check availability for you and discuss menus.
